10 wks and had to buy a belly band because my pants won't button...a little worried if I am already having to wear maternity clothes!

I had to start at 9 weeks. Now at 13 weeks (even though my husband told me last night I now LOOK pregnant and not like I'm just putting on weight) I feel like I'm smaller than I was at 9 weeks (like I had been bloated or something for 5 weeks). I switched to maternity pants because my regular pants were too tight and caused me to start cramping after an hour of being in them. I would much rather be comfortable. I still wear my regular shirts (but if I don't have a jacket on then you can deffinatly tell I'm pregnant. I would not worry about it and just wear what is comfortable. You don't want to constrict your growing uterus.

I started wearing my "early" maternity pants at 6 weeks. They were actually a couple sizes larger than my normal size, knit, with elastic waist.

Now, at almost 22 weeks, I actually look pregnant and am wearing real maternity panel pants.

Week 10 was the same week I couldn't button my pants! I still didn't know it was twins yet. One of my friends was suspicious!! I still didn't get THAT big.

I feel the same way as Courtney. I was 7 weeks pregnant and was wearing my "bigger sized" pants. I thought it was just the fact that I was pregnant again so soon after my last pregnancy ended. Then at the ultrasound I was like....hmmm, no wonder! LOL But now in my 13th week I am constantly looking at my belly going, "Have I grown any?" I think knowing there are twins in there has made me think I am suppose to get gi-normous overnight. However, I have switched over to Materinty pants because even my bigger pants were getting a little snug so I must be growing. I look like a clown though b/c my materinty pants are still a bit large so I either have to wear a materinty shirt that of course looks rather large at this point or I have a few reg. shirts that cover enough to wear with the pants. And with those you can certainly tell I am pregnant.
Hang in there, b4 you know it we will all be talking about how small all our materinty attire is getting on our huge belly's!

Now I don't feel so bad after hearing all the comments...I guess just hearing stories from friends that have had babies and how they didn't start showing until weeks 18+, but none have had twins.

I never get really big with any of my pregnancies.. so when I was showing a bit quicker and that I was growing quickly and everyone joked it was twins...funny it was!! :p I am 16w 2d... and I am every bit as big as I was with my last daughter between 6-7mths pregnant. Everyone keeps saying how they can't wait to see me when I get 6-7 months to see how big I get then... oh funny for them... So long story short I have been in my maternity clothes fairly quickly as I was growing quickly, even though I have yet to gain a pound.

Lol- I cant recall when I started wearing maternity pants but I know when I called that I was having twins!! I told my co-workers I was concerned it was twin b/c I was getting so big so quickly. They both laughed at me and told me not to worry. hahah I no longer worried (delighted) but hahah I called it !
