The twins have had diarrhea since Mon or Tues now, I'm taking them to the pediatrician today. Please keep healthy thoughts for them. I have tried everything I can think of to try to get it back to normal so now it's time to go in. Thankfully they are drinking their formula and do not seem dehydrated (their soft spots aren't sunken.)

Teething can cause diarhea cause of the excess drool.

    Good luck with the Dr

Well, we made it through our first "real" sick visit. Dr. said she can't be sure if the diarrhea is being caused by teething or viral w/o a blood workup & by the time the results would be back they would probably be over it (whatever "it" is.) No fevers (duh- I told them that), not dehydrated (that too) she said to do Pedialyte for the rest of today and start them on Isomil DF tomorrow for 5 or 6 days [IMG] (will post separately on that one) and give rice cereal and bananas and applesauce to help get things solid again. Overall they seem to be doing pretty well except they are gulping down Pedialyte like there is no tomorrow- I don't think it is filling them like the formula since there really is no substance to it.

Wish me luck, I think it is going to be a long night!!!
