1). How long did your bleeding last?

2). How long until you stop looking pregnant?

3). Did you have any dead skin/smell issues?

    Thanks!!

I have had 2 c sections 1 st one with the twins, second one 13 months ago with Easton.

    1. With my twins, it lasted 5 weeks and then I did not have a period for 13 months! (I breastfeed) After our last baby, it was an eternity - I bled for 8 weeks stopped for a few days then my period started OH MY GOSH I was MAD! LOL!!!

    2. After the twins I lost 75 pounds and looked AWESOME. 6 weeks after their birth. After Easton, I Have had a much harder time and my belly looks more like he should have been twins LOL!!

    3. Not after my twins, but after Easton I got a yeast infection around my incision and it did smell a bit. I got a prescription from my dr that was a tiny little bottle of Nystatin powder - it didn't last long so I bought a can of Tinactin spray at Walmart, it worked wonders. I also did not use a towel to dry down there, I used my hair dryer on cool.

Erica ... Dont get down on yourself! You just gave birth to twins! And since you can't do anything for 6 weeks, just relax and enjoy you're little ones!!

I gained 70 lbs with the pregnancy,I list a ton of water weight the first week and a half (from delivery to current ive lost 36 lbs) and i still have a tummy.

My skin is really dry at the bottom of my stomach, is that what you're talking about with dead skin?

Have you has your 2 week check up with your ob yet? You might need to talk to him about the possibility of a yeast infection ... They gave you at least 1 round of antibiotics if not 2 during surgery/recovery .. it'll cause it. If youre talking about change in body odor, id like to know the answer to that too! Lol!

Bleeding: 5-6 weeks (it lasted 8 with my first! Ugh!)--excessive movement always made it pick up too (walking/standing a lot).

Looking pregnant: I was horrified with my belly after the twins and kept asking everyone when they thought it would go down. It took about 3 weeks to look normal-ish again (for comparison, it went down within days with my singleton). I did lose all 52 pounds I gained fairly quickly (by 6 weeks post-partum) and I think that helped. That said, I do have a much jigglier tummy than I did pre-twins (or pre-babies, in general), but it's been fairly easy to mask now that all the weight has come off (but I trend towards looser fitting clothing which probably helps). ETA: I think the c-section makes you retain water for much longer (because of the fluids they push, etc).

No issues with my incision site. Have it checked if you think there's anything wrong. But I did sweat like crazy for about 3-4 weeks postpartum and was smelly in general. ;)

And BE EASY with yourself! You just had twins!

Thanks everyone! I'm just a worrier in general! Plus, I haven't lost much of my fluid yet, and it's annoying!! LOL
