I'm so tired of people asking me if the twins are crawling yet! OMG! They haven't even rolled from their back to their tummy yet. I always smile and explain how since they were preemies, they are developmentally like 5 month olds, blah, blah, blah. Anyone have any witty or sarcastic responses for me? I'm tired of being nice. I understand exactly what you mean. My twin boys are 14 months old now and I always heard that. Just embrace yourself because you are going to hear alot more, and rude comment. my advice is smile and continue to go about your day.

I used to tell people I am purposely stunting their development so that I don't have to chase two at once.

Yeah I get tired of the developmental questions, too. Esp since most of my friends had babies after me, but their due dates were either before or just after mine. So they expect my babies to be ahead in everything, but they are basically on the same level as their babies. I keep having to tell them, it doesn't work like that, they were two months early and won't be like normal 10 month olds. Otherwise, in stores, I just smile, say no and move on.

People do that whether you have one or 4 babies at the same time lol...its annoying and people should really know that all babies go at their own speeds but most aparently missed that memo somewhere along the line lol.
At your little ones ages I wouldnt worry about crawling lol...My first DS didn't crawl till 7 1/2 months...a week later was furniture surfing and starting to walk...crawling wasnt his thing.
My twins are 5 months and like 3 weeks and they aren't near crawling either...they are just finally rolling over both ways and enjoying rolling onto their bellys and playing...things happen when they happen[IMG]

If strangers, just say "yes, I chase them around all the time and boy do I sure have my hands FULL!".

That way, you cover it all in one nice sentence.
