The last few weeks I have been DRAGGING. But not like I normally am and I am getting plenty of sleep. The boys sleep through the night and have been for the last 4 months. I feel incredibly tired ALL THE TIME...like someone is sucking the life out of me. Has anyone else experienced this and I don't mean the just normal tired feeling but overwhelmingly tired. Maybe I need to get a physical and see what's going on. I just don't know how to get past this feeling. There are times when I can barely function lately. Ugh.......

I'm still in the tired because I'm NOT getting enough sleep because of the babies constant waking...hmmm...sure you're not pregnant?!? I think getting a physical is a good idea though.

I just said the same thing to my DH. I'm sooo tired. Now, my guys aren't STTN yet, but I still think I am getting alright sleep. I feel like the life is being sucked right out of me. Today I even did a search to see if I can drink green tea and bf. I'm just so desperate to feel normal. Anyways, I hope someone will chime in with some good suggestions. Or maybe we should go and get checked.

    Could you be pregnant?

Are you feeling depressed? When I'm depressed I feel tired all the time. Or maybe it's just b/c taking care of 2 babies 24 hours a day is a whole lot of work. Exhausting, even!

    a couple possible causes:
    - depression?
    - low iron?
    - thyroid issues?

i would definitely talk with your doc about it.

I would get a physical. I found out that thyroid problems can come about after a pregnancy. You should have it tested.

I recently started taking an iron pill each morning and drinking oj because I was so tired. It definitely helped especially since I dont each red meat.

    Hope you feel better soon!

It's a possibility you have a thyroid problem like other pp said. I would definitely make an appt. to see the doctor. Hope you start feeling better.

I feel this way too...even though my babies sleep through the night I don't sleep through the night! It's been like this ever since they were born. Plus I do have borderline iron levels so I started taking supplements. I also feel overwhelmingly disablingly tired when I'm coming down with something. It's definitely a good idea to see the doctor. HUGS

or your not getting enough iodine in your diet. I took an iodine supplement and I felt a ton better. Did after a week. This was a few months ago.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I am calling the DR tomorrow to get a physical and blood work done. I was definetly having some depression in the beginning and now I think it's more of an overwhelmed feeeling...like i feel like I never get a break! I feel fine most days as far as not being depressed but I definetly have moments where I have anxiety when the babies are super fussy!

Maybe thyroid problems? Or anxiety/depression? I think it is a good idea to go to the doctor to try to figure out what is going on! Good Luck!
