Is anyone else tired all the time. I am still working full time but this morning I am just having trouble keeping my eyes open. I am tired all the time. Is it time to ask the doctor to take me off work? Does anyone else feel like this?

I feel like that now..and you're twice as far along as I am! I'd call it quits at work, if you can afford to. You might enjoy your pregnancy more if you were well rested, plus you'd be able to get some things done at home, that you would not normally.

I'm only 8 weeks and I didn't sleep at all last night. I thought sleepliness happened later in pregrancy, not this early.

I am not as far along as you so I can only imagine your level of fatigue. I will start working from home at 28 weeks per my doc's recommendation. I have an office job but lots of meetings and a two and half hour total commute each day. My pregnancy is fairly normal and they told me 28 weeks was just a recommendation. They would have put me on disability if I had asked but I am trying to stay at 100% pay for awhile longer. At 32 weeks I plan on revisiting the work from home decision to no work, depending on my energy level and baby growth.

Hang in there and get a lot of rest. I don't know your job situation, commute stress or financial worries. I would say do what is right for you and don't look back.

Yep. If I could, I'd sleep all day. I'm starting to have trouble waking up.

I know how you feel, I have been exhausted the whole time. It's awful. Luckily, I have had no other symptoms. No nausea or morning sickness at all. I guess I should just be thankful for that, but I feel like a slug I'm so tired all the time.

I am tired all the time, especially by Friday! Mondays aren't as bad because I've been resting all weekend. I had to cut down on my work hours about a month ago and I'm only going to work for 5 more weeks. It's strange because I'm so tired and then at night when I try to sleep it's so difficult to get comfortable and fall asleep! I toss and turn and get too hot and then too cold, etc.

I am tired all the time too...though i really think it's the getting sleep in 2 hour incraments for the last 15 weeks or so that is really getting to me....oh what I wouldn't give to get 5 or 6 hours in a row!!! I am still working full time -- desk job. And my boss is great -- i take an hour nap in my office every afternoon -- and eat lunch at my desk. I don't think that i could make it through the day without that nap!

I am right there with ya. It gets worse.. It probably doesnt help that i dont really get enough sleep at night. I wake up about once an hour... just to roll over.. then sometimes i dont fall back asleep

Early on in the pregnancy I was really tired alot. I would fall asleep on a dime, but had trouble sleeping at night!! Docs say that I have low iron levels now and started taking an iron supplement. But I still get sleepy now too!!! I had some problems with fertility drugs in the beginning and decided to quit work at around 18 weeks or so due to extensive time off already. It was best for us and I've been able to enjoy every moment of this pregnancy and feel that being less stressed has made it that much easier and healthy for me. You will make the right decision for what's best for you. Hopefully you will catch up on rest before the twins get here!!!

Even before I went on bedrest at 27 weeks I was starting to get soo tired at work. And now it's definately worse, I have such a hard time falling asleep at night. The babies are always moving and I have to get up to pee every hour, it's so frustrating!

I am tired all the time also but it is probably due to the fact that I can't sleep comfortably at night and then when I do It is time to get up so I have been oversleeping lately in the morning. Luckily at my job I am so busy I don't have the oppportunity to get sleepy I always moving and busy. My doctor actually told me we are taking it week by week and I shuld stay at work as long as I can, she doesn't have a set time to put me out of work, but I am okay with it I guess because I reaaly need the money and I only get 8 weeks Maternity Leave anyway(that really sucks  ) But this is about you I am with you on being tired girl.

You should be VERY proud of yourself for making it this far. I was done working at 22 weeks I just couldn't do it. I was soooo tired right from the beginning. I live about 4 minutes from work and some days I didn't know if I would be able to make it home driving without falling asleep. So I would say it is about time.

I am glad to know that there are other pregnant moms that are as tired as I am. I have a 2 year old and I drive about 30 minutes to get to work. My husband works an hour away from our house so I am doing most of the work. I was so tired yesterday that I had in my head that I couldn't feel one of the babies move so my doctors sent me to L&D to get checked out. Everything was fine so I came home and slept for 2 hours. That helped alot. I want to keep working but I want to make sure I am getting my rest now to.

    Thanks Ladies!

Okay, you have a 2 year old and you are 28 weeks pregnant with twins and still working full time??? :bow2: You should be tired !!! My twins were my first pregnancy and my doctor had me go to half days at 20 weeks and I stopped at about 28-29 weeks. I would talk to the doctor at your next appt and see what he/she says.

I'm 16 weeks and not as far along as you but I am tired all the time. There just is not enough sleep in the day. I find it difficult to stay awake during work, normally around 1-2 pm, I can hardly keep my eyes open!
