Tiptoeing into the 1-4's...

Just wanted to drop in and introduce ourselves...We are just new to the whole idea of "1 year old," but just in three short days seem to have noticed a gazillian little changes and new things learned! We're from the high desert part of Southern California. I'm Jessica the mom, the twins are Donovan and Tiana, born at 38 weeks 1 day on 3/23/07. James is Daddy who works construction, and we have two big brothers (my step sons) who live with us 100% of the time..."Bubba" (14) and Nick (10). We have our fun 1 year appt. this week to weigh in and get some more "pokes." Looking forward to "collaborating" here like we did in the first year board...Twinstuff has been a true lifesaver whether to offer advice, or to make me realize that I'm not a terrible mother if they haven't totally master sippies yet!

Welcome Jessica! It is weird coming over here to the 'big kid board.' But even though the girls JUST turned 1, I find that I relate to a lot more of the posts here (more than FY now).

 

Welcome jessica! we just came on board last week and yes, i still itch to click on First Year....but my babies aren't babies any more! I have a feeling the next 12 months are going to be just as wild a ride as the last twelve. And i thought i was tired back THEN!
