Ok so in the last 2 weeks I have lost 4 pounds. I don't really understand how or why, but I have. Honestly I was worried about gaining too much weight laying in bed all day! So what tips do you have to gain some healthy weight?

I don't really have any good advice. I just wanted you to know that when I went on bedrest a few weeks ago, I lost a few pounds and couldn't hardly eat which put my weight gain at a stall. Someone correct me, but laying in bed and letting muscles atrophy actually does cause loss of muscle weight.

I told my doc I was concerned, and he told me that as long as I am eating the best, healthiest I can - taking my vitamins - and doing my TTTS-reason prescribed Ensure protein shakes, the babies would get what they would need. I might lose weight, but the babies would be fine.

I was going to suggest Boost or Ensure drinks as well. Protein is always good.

I eat plenty. Well, during the day I don't eat much but in the evenings I do. I was gaining weight at a pace that made my docs happy until 2 weeks ago. After 6 weeks on bedrest, I'm just surprised that I am losing weight now. I think my doc said I should be gaining something like a ppund a week but instead I am losing 2 a week. I guess as long as the babies are ok and on track then its not a big deal. But they dont have their growth check for another 2 weeks I think.

can u have a smalll fridge beside your bed? or ask hubby to stock up on those mini snacks-cheese/crackers packs or better peanut butter and cracker packs--non perishable snacks u can grab all day long - bananas, apples, fruit cups, applesauce cups, tuna salads that dont need to be refrigerated --
    pudding cups
    cereal bars
    granola bars
    trail mix
    oatmeal cookies or bars

Make sure your fed real meals too; sometimes on bedrest your forgotten about and dont get fed as often;) 5 mini meals should be your goal and any more is great! a cooler of various drinks is great too because water can get boring and calcium and protein right now is the best for the development of the babies to gain fat:)
