I took some tylenol (i know it doesnt do much for me either) and layed down in bed with a heating pad on my back. It helps SOME.... But there isnt really much else I found that works.

i know this probably sounds strange, but for lower back pain my peri told me to get on the bed on my hands and knees. It takes all the pressure of the babies off the back, and really does work. Just a suggestion.

my back pain seems to mostly be in the middle of my back. It started about 2 weeks ago and is really a drag. Tylenol and a heating pad help but the best thing seems to be for me to get up and walk around a bit.

Tylenol, heating pad, hot shower with the shower head pointed at the sore spot, warm bath really deep so you can sink your back into it, and having dh rub it. That's all that helps me. And the massage helps the best, it hurts like a bugger but he said he can feel the knots in my back and after a few nights of rubbing it it helps tremendously!!

This also worked wonders for me too! I also take baths about twice a week to get the weight off my back. Also, what is weird is when we took my dd to the zoo last weekend, when pushing her in her stroller up a ramp, my back felt great. It must have been the counter-pressure that helped. Not sure how to replicate that at home though : )
