i've recently started dealing with swollen fingers and feet. They are constantly tingling and often go numb.

    is this normal?

Unfortunately...completely normal. It is pregnancy induced Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. I got it about a month or so ago and it gets bad at night and if I am doing something repettitive like typing on the computer for a long time or something. It is SUPPOSED to go away after pregnancy, but some women get stuck with it permanently. I am hoping I am not one of them. It is a form of edema due to the water retention and it pressing on the nerves...Fun huh??

Yes, totally normal. I had it with my singleton pregnancy and my twin pregnancy.

Unfortunately, it is normal. I recently posted about it myself. I've had it in my hands since 24 weeks and have been wearing wrist stabilizers since then, on my doctor's orders. It does help, but not completely. I wake up in the middle of the night and can't move my fingers. Just trying to use the toilet is difficult. At times, my entire arms go numb. It is horrible. Try to cut down on salt and drink lots of water, and keep the AC on. When it's hot and humid, my hands are much, much worse. On chilly days, I feel good, actually. You can ice them or stick them in a bowl of ice water to help relive swelling. Good luck!
