Time to switch to big boy beds?

Every night this week my guys want to climb into their own cribs at bed time. I've been letting them (watching them balance on the rail and praying they won't fall!). They stay in their beds in the morning until I lift them out. Just wondering if you all think I should be proactive and go for big beds before it becomes an absolute necessity?

It looks like your guys are 3..is that right? I say go for it! My DH and I waited until our girls were almost 3 and they had an excellent transition, they understand consequences and rewards of staying in bed and they loved their beds. We really talked up the whole idea before they got them and my girls were just thrilled with the idea of getting "big girl" beds.

If they are able to climb in or out, then I say go for it! :good:

    :good: Ditto!!

I wouldn't want to risk them doing it while you weren't there. :nea:

We did it at 2. Our only issue is nap time, one will sleep in the bed, the other in a pack and play in a different room. Night time though is cake. :)

I'm afraid of the day we have to switch, but I think if they were climbing in or out and didn't have crib tents, I would switch.
