Time to say goodbye

    Here it is a year (and a day later) and I still can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday that we brought the babies home and i was posting my birth story yet here I am looking back. All the anxiety and concerns that lead up the the birth are only a distant memory. All my first year fears washed away by time and so many questions answered "How will i every do this" "how do i make sure my first doesn't feel left out" "how will i ever leave the house again"
    I now know for a fact you really do love the third as much as the first and that moms really can do anything. We still have bad days and there are still days were it seems like it is almost too much to handle but those are few and far between now. Audrey took her first two steps yesterday (on her birthday no less) which was meant with a well timed snort from Blakie that made it seem like he was saying "so what I could do that too I'm just not a show off" Blakie says "tickle tickle" which cracks me up and loves to say mom over and over again just to hear me say "blakie" back. Both are drinking from sippy cups and seem to be losing interest in nursing (sigh).
    So here i am saying good bye to the first year with great joy and a few tears. I have so much to be thankful for and so much to look forward to but is hard not o look back wishfully at the baby stage since I know it will never come again.
    Good bye first year watch out 1-4 here we come :)

    Thanks for sharing your story with us and all of those FANTASTIC photos!! your little ones halloween costumes are awesome and the book you made for them at shutterfly is so fun!!
