Time to join the bedrest club...

Hi ladies! Just wanted to stop in and say hi, as I am joining the ranks of the bedrest mamas. I was in the hospital for 3 days to stop preterm labor, which luckily was. So now I'm home and resting until my two girls really decide to try to come into this world. I am 30 weeks today so at the very least they want me to make it until 32 weeks and if I can keep going great. My mom is with us right now, but she is from out of state and has to go back to work eventually. She will be here for a few more days getting me settled in and lining up some help while my husband is at work during the days. So I will have to pile up some books, take a look at my sewwing projects, and maybe start on those baby books I got at my shower! I know it won't be easy, but it's for my girls so I will do my best to keep them cooking!

Welcome to the bedrest club... I've been on modified bed rest for 6 weeks now and i still have 19 weeks left. You might as well rest up now...

Thanks! The first 3 days haven't been bad The good thing is I'm not supposed to be left alone so different friends and family will be spending extra quality time with me! Hopefully that will help. I know 30 weeks is way too early so I will sit and rest to keep them in as long as possible. The only down side I see so far is that I think my mother is going to call me at least 3 times a day to check on me. She lives out of state and was here when I was in the hospital and the first few days I was home. After awhile there will not be much to report to her!
