Time to introduce myself

Hi all... I joined a couple of weeks or so ago, have been lurking and figured it's about time I introduce myself. My name's Karly and DH and I found out on August 20th that we're expecting twins. This is my first pregnancy and my EDD is March 17th, 2008. We're planning on keeping the sexes a surprise and we're both still shocked but totally excited. How's that for a boring intro? :lol:

Congratulations on making it through your first tri! A bit of advice.....unfortunately I took my sisters advice who by the way had singletons only.....she told me to wait till way later in my pregnancy to do stuff, like shopping for cribs and decorating the nursery...etc. because you'll get board in your 3rd tri and want something to do! BIG MISTAKE! I'm toooooo tired to do anything now, so do everything and anything you can in your 2nd trimester. And note that women don't have a clue about being pregnant with twins just cuz they had a singleton, it's totally different. Welcome......(sorry, think I vented a bit there! ha ha)

WELCOME!!! YEAH I AM NEW TOO. I hope you find this site as much help as I have. Unlike the other pregnancy chat forums I have found this one to be non drama. The other one's have people calling each other names and being really mean. You will LOVE it here. Finally a place where the other pregnant mom's and moms of twins understand what you are going through. Again, welcome!!!

I agree! Get yourself registered and furniture ordered by 20 weeks-After that things get tough and you never know when couch rest or bed rest awaits you!
Welcome and congrads on the twins! We didn't find out the sexes and are so excited to see what we are having-we are almost there!

According to Yahoo maps, I'm about 8 hours away from you. I'm in the panhandle, between Pensacola and Panama City.

Thanks for the tip! I didn't even think about the shape I would be in in my third trimester. :wacko:
