Just needing some advice about TO's. One twin gets the time out idea and stays in his naughty corner, but the other thinks it's a joke. I am constantly putting him back in the corner. He thinks it's funny and keeps asking me to play the "game". Any ideas on what to do? We no longer have play pens and would rather not send him to his room.

    Thanks :)

I recommend 1-2-3 Magic. It's a timeout system that works really well. I use their feeding seats for timeouts. I can turn them away from the action and they can hear everything, but not see it and they really don't like to have to go there.... just a thought!

(I was thinking of getting rid of them, but maybe I won't till I can get them to stay in a timeout without being restrained by their little buckles! Hmmm)

I also used their booster seats for timeouts when they wouldn't stay. I would buckle them up in the seat and put it in our hallway (so they didn't really associate eating and being in time, didn't want them near the table). Then when they got the idea of it they just sat in the hallway and now they are in their bedroom on their bed. I also used their crib also when sometimes when they wouldn't stay and they never had any problems for naps or at night when I did this (that's when I still had their highchairs).

We currently use the pack-n-play for DS. DD stays wherever I put her, but DD is a nightmare and will leave as soon as I turn my back.

Here's what I had to do to get them to "get it". I would put them on the "time out" chair, if they got up they had to start the time out over again in thier room with the door closed. It didn't take too long for them to stay put.
