We had the day from heck yesterday but they shifted today to 6:15 (MUCH better than the 5:20 wakeup & half a nap ending in a poop party!) Just wondered how it's going for everyone else.

I am trying to switch them from a 7:30 bedtime to at least a 7:00 bedtime with this switch! We did it last night and worked pretty darn well!!

They were up early yesterday, but about 1/2 hr. more today in the a.m.!! WOO HOO!!!

They woke up very early 2 days in a row...but last night I cheated and put foil on their window to block out the morning sun....worked like a charm! :)

I don't adjust for the time change, that just seems to hard to me.

Oh this is not going well. Not going well at all. For the kids AND me. I have been in bed by 9pm the last few nights. And they are enjoying their new 5am wake-up time.

I kind of like the earlier bed time. Mine were waking between 7:30 and 8 and now it's 6:30 or 7. I'm ok with it. They are going to bed earlier too. It doesn't help that one is congested so she's waking early anyway, but I think I'll ride it out and see what happens.

Sunday was somewhat difficult and we put them to bed early, but last night they went to bed at their usual 7:30pm. Don't know for sure about their wake-up time. We always have to wake them at 6:30am to get ready to go to daycare and work during the week. We'll see how it goes this weekend. They usually sleep until 8am or so, but they may be up earlier due to the time change and the fact that their window faces East and the sun will be up earlier. I hope they still sleep until at least 8:00!

You poor thing...we may both have rowdy monkeys, but I have yet to encounter an poop party :bad: (hope I didn't just jinx myself).

We were already struggling with keeping them asleep past 5:30am, so this was definately a set back for us.

Miraculously, we woke up at 5:15 (yes, that was considered 'pretty good') day one, and 6am on day 2 & 3.

Their wake up/naptime/bedtime didn't really shift, but they have both been in a foul mood since Sunday. So I voted other, we're trying to get through this at our house, but we're starting to go a little crazy with all the whining and fighting.

Last time the time changed this didn't happen, so I'm hoping they aren't coming down with anything.

We had a rough couple of mornings when they woke up at 5 instead of their normal 6 or 6:30. However, they are just getting over some nasty colds, and waking up a few times in the night anyway. This morning one ds woke up at 5:45 briefly then went back to sleep, and we didn't hear another peep from their room until after 7:00!

We have been really lucky -- pre-time change, their waking time varied from 6 to 7. On Sunday morning, they woke at 6, which we thought was great! Monday and this morning they woke at 6:15, so I think they are definitely adjusting. We did put them down a little early on Sunday night (6:30 instead of 7), but since then it's been the regular time.

Their whole world (daycare, our work schedules, etc.) runs on clock time, and the length or hours of daylight has never seemed to affect them that much. I figured we'd have a few early mornings, and then we'd be back to normal.

They had shifted to 8:00ish wake/bedtime, and I was able to take advantage of the time change to shift them back closer to 7:00. While I enjoy sleeping till 8:00, it doesn't give me much time to get us ready on preschool days or time with DH in the morning before he has to start work. I also like putting them to bed earlier.

We put them to bed later Saturday, and they woke up normal time (but it was really 7 AM with the time change by our clocks) Sunday AM. I let them chatter back there until 7:30. The next day they slept until 8 just like they are supposed to.

I like their new earlier wake time, they were sleeping until 8 am which meant there wasn't time for breakfast before I took Dave to school. Now they get breakfast, a diaper change and playtime. Bonus!

We've only changed by a half hour in the morning. They are going to bed at the same time (but now they think it's later) and they've been going down SO smoothly.
