I saw a few pple post that they try to put their babies to sleep between 1 hour to 1 1/2 after waking. Does this apply for two months old babies? Or is it something for later on?

At that age, I let them sleep whenever they wanted. They slept most of the day, and were almost never awake for an entire hour!

mine go till they're tired - usually about an hour. sooner if they want - but they're pretty active for about that long - but that includes feeding time. hope that helps!

I did 1 - 1 1/2 hour at 2-3 months, yes. At 4 months we went to 2 naps (2 - 2 1/2 hours between naps), at 9 am and 1 pm, with an early bed time (6 pm). Mine slept in their cribs since 3-4 weeks old.

I am doing this with Cody & he seems to be doing great. The time does include the feeding for us. Sometimes he doesn't go that long. I watch for the yawns. After 3 I know he is ready.

At two months I don't think mine were ever up much longer than an hour if I could help it. At three months it was more like 1.5 hours and now at six months it's up to 2.5 hours, even 3.
