Hi, all! Thinking about adding a small tile accent section in my dining area. What’s the best way to do that without overpowering the room?

Tile accents work best when used in one focused area, like a small section of wall, an alcove, or behind open shelving. Choose a contrasting texture or pattern but keep the surrounding surfaces neutral. Inspiration from Dream House Tile https://dreamhousetile.ca/ often includes a patterned accent tile combined with simple porcelain around it. Their tile installation service in Toronto and the GTA helps map out accent placement so the detail feels intentional rather than random. When done carefully, a small accent brings personality without taking over the room.
