Hi Ladies--i'm 14 1/2 weeks and just wondering if it's normal to have tightness kind of come and go in my lower abdomen. It just feels a bit heavier at times and also harder. Doesn't last long but does come and go....hear things about braxton hicks, but I know it's got to be way too early for that---are the babies just low right now? Or is it just stretching? A little concerned.....but hopefully nothing.

Every little thing can be so scary right now. I don't know how early is to early for B/H. I know I get very painful cramps when I have to go pee?

Definitely keep track of them...and when you feel them, try to drink lots of water, empty your bladder, and lay on your left side - not all at the same time LOL. I had contractions (real ones) from 20 weeks on. Yours are probaby B/H, but like pp said, if you have more than 4 an hour, call you dr.

I get that a lot too, I am almost 22 weeks. I drink a lot of water that seems to help other than that I deal with them, LOL.

It sounds like it could just be uterine irritability which I have been dealing with as well. Like the other posters have mentioned....drinking tons of water helps. So does laying on your left side and emptying your bladder very regularly. Of course...if you are in doubt it never hurts to call your doctor. That is what they are there for! Good luck!

With this twin pregnancy I started having BH at 15 weeks and been having them ever since! It's good to check everything out with your DR but I don't think any symptom is 'too early' for a twin pregnancy!
