throws everything off the highchair tray

my LO takes every little thing i put on the tray, leans over the side and watches it drop. he no longer picks up food and feeds himself; he is so good at it too! i have to put every piece of food in his mouth!

 

This might not make you feel any better now, but it is a phase! Although one that had me pulling my hair out The thing that finally ended it for us is when I transitioned them from their highchairs to their boosters at the table. I can't remember the age exactly, but I think it was around your babies age. I know this is a really frusterating behavior though, hope you find something that works soon!

 

It is definitely a phase. Every single one of my kids have gone through it. Frustrating for sure, but it will pass eventually!

 

yup, common phase! I agree it stopped when we got rid of high chairs and got boosters for the table.

 

ugh! We are there now. I have to put the food in their mouth if I want them to get more than the floor! Waiting for this phase to pass...
