    Hi,
I am new here, My twins are 2 1/2 WOW. I still have them on sippy cups for traveling, in double stroller. They are still throwing those things. Anybody know of a good product to stop this madness?

Thank you, glad to have found this site

WELCOME!! You have come to the RIGHT place!!!

There is a product called the "Sippy Leash" and I think the site is www.nothrow.com I'll have to try that and see if it worked, but they are great. I have one left and it was awesome!! Here is the website!!
The good news is that it looks like they are going to be sold in Walgreens starting in July!! That's a HOT TIP!

At 2 1/2, I wouldn't bother with the leashes. If they throw it, they loose it--that simple. A few times of loosing the sippy, they will stop--because at that age they are doing it because they know you will get it--not because they can't hold on.

THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR QUICK RESPONSES.

I am going to try both brands...nothrow and also just found another type http://www.sippigrip.com/sippigrip.htm
This one says they are the only product fully adjustable, which is good for me, as I am going to hook this thing to everything I can!

It is amazing how much money we spend on stuff to make our lives easier.
Is there a post somewhere on 'what products we have bought, but do not really use, and/or didn't work as designed"? be nice to help out those twin mommies in that first year buying spree.

    thanks

We had the nothrow cup leashes and we absolutely loved them...UNTIL they learned how to undo the velcro. But we got quite a bit of use out of them and I think it helped with them learning not to throw them. Now if they throw a cup...they lose it, period, no negotiation.

Isn't it amazing what we mom's come up with? I'm glad I checked this post b/c my girls LOVE to throw their cups. I think that they think it means "I'm done Mommy" b/c they always wait till their done with their milk (or mostly done) and then toss it across the floor. It's not a huge problem, but it can be messy b/c my sippys leak as they're tossed.

Sippigrip is a good option for the price!! Plus, you won't need them for too long....

I am of the same mind here. I give them a couple chances, and then the cups are gone. It's not like they need to drink something *that* bad. If it's really hot out or we are out for a long time, I will pull the stroller over, give them the cups and let them drink, then take them back when we get going. Mine figured out how to undo the velcro on the pacifier leashes in the car, so we don't have those (the leashes, still do paci's in the car) anymore. I have the same policy with binkies, you throw it, you lose it.

    thank you everybody!

    i love this forum,
I also now have started the
you throw it, you lose it, while waiting for my orders for the straps/grippers.

so far, they are not going for it, stubborn lil monkeys aren't they!
