it's on my lower right side and travels to my side... it's so bad when i sit or recline back. the doctor had me leave work early and told me to take extra strength tylenol, take a warm bath and do some stretches, and if in 4 hours the pian hasn't subsided, i am to go to the hospital to be monitored :cray: i took extra strength tylenol and i took a warm bath, and now i'm reclined on teh sofa and it just hurts. i'm gonna try stretching next, and if it still hurts, i have no choice but to go to the hospital. :cray:
i really think baby B is lying on something there, but it's SO uncomfortable, and now i'm worried.

has anyone else had this pain?

I haven't experienced this, but I wanted to say I'm sorry for what you're going through and hope the pain subsides. If you need to go to the hospital at least they will examine you so you don't need to wonder/worry. Hopefully it is like you said and the baby is just giving you a hard time.

  3. I had this pain a lot during my pregnancy and I would take a warmer than normal bath and lie down on my left side praying for sleep. It carried on through my whole 3rd trimester because they had run out of room. I also had my hubby rub my lower back and legs because it gave me "restless leg syndrome" and that helped ease it a little bit. Try a bunch of pillows to where you are almost sitting upright in bed as well. All this together is things I did. Did it help? A little. Did it go away? NO!! Hehehehehe HTH

I had a lot of back pain with my pregnancy. The only way I could relieve it was to wear a brace the whole day and have my husband rub my back each night. Staying off my feet helped also. I also iced by back when it really hurt and that also helped a lot.

I wish I could say it went away when I delivered, but it only got a little better. I am still having pain in my back and my babies are about 7 months old.

Do whatever works and make your husband rub your back everynight!!!

I remember being in sooo much pain around that time. I was just starting to get really big. I actually ended up cutting my schedule way back at work and doing work from home. I felt like someone had beat me up every day after work. I had a lot of sciatic nerve pain, and a lot of lower back pain and I also had really bad pains up in my ribs on the right side. It is probably just your body stretching and adjusting to being pregnant with twins. Obviously follow your doctors instructions but just try and listen to your body and when it says to slow down, slow down. Hang in there that didn't last forever. :hug99:
