Hayden and Brady had their kindergarten physicals yesterday. What champs!! They each got three shots in their thighs. I could tell the last one really hurt, because they both screwed up their faces in pain and turned bright red, but they were so brave! In fact, it was so quiet in our room that the doc and another nurse came in to check -- they couldn't believe there was no fussing.

Hayden also sat perfectly still and didn't complain at all while the doc removed the wax blockages from his ears (ewww!). Doc then showed the results to all of us (triple ewwww!) and joked that we could take it home and sell it on E-bay. Brady said, "Hey, we're going to have a garage sale next month! We could sell it there!" :D

What surprised me most was that Brady got really up-close to watch the needle go into his brother. He was fascinated. Maybe I'll have a doctor in the family someday!

We had our 5 year check yesterday too! That is great that your boys did so well. I am still trying to recover from ours.
My girls did great through the the checkup but totally lost it when it came to the shots. Their big sister had told them months ago that they would have shots so the anticipation was what did it. It took 2 nurses and me to hold them down. They each got 4 shots and Hannah also had her finger pricked. They were so tense that their legs are really sore today.
Can you believe we have to send our babies to kindergarten?
