Are any of you using one of these now? Are they effective and worth the $$? They look so flimsy to me in the pictures online, but I need some way of coralling the kiddies once they are out of the exersaucers!

We used ours a lot from about 6-12 months. We use it less now because they are walking and just can't stand to be cooped up. Plus, they are bigger, so the yard seems smaller. But I still think it was worth it. It's better for them than the exersaucer anyway, because at least they can crawl around a bit and choose what to play with. We had a superyard with 1 extension. It is a little flimsy (they keep distorting it from its "ideal shape," just by pushing on it), but they haven't actually broken it or knocked it over or climbed out, yet. HTH!

We got a nice one when the girls started to crawl, but only used it for about 3 weeks. The idea was great, but in ended up being a pain. If we wanted to put them in it to get something done, we had to first get in with them and get them interested in something, sneak out and then try to hide from them. As soon as they saw us, they would crawl to the gate and act all pathetic until we got back in with them or took them out. We have a 2-story house, so it was nice when I needed to run and do something upstairs for a few minutes. Now we just have the kitchen and familiy room doorways blocked (one doorway has a door and we put a gate in the other)and the rooms child proofed. I took away all low decorations/nick-nacks and replaced them with toys (even the shelves on the sides of the kitchen island). Not pretty, but they love it, and I actually do too! I'm sure it depends on the kids, though. Good luck. Stephanie

we bought a Superyard and actually wound up taking it apart and blocking off one end of the living room with most of it and took 2 other panels to block off the radiator in the living room...now the kids have the ENTIRE living room to themselves...in that respect its a good thing because they have an entire room thats childproof - I don't think I could keep them in it if it were in its original shape

We have 2 of the Lil Playzone with Lights play yards. We attached them in a rectangle shape and it is a great size for both babies at the same time. They can move it a bit out of shape but don't do that much.

We are enjoying it and I like the fact that they can practice walking in there on a sturdy surface, not like a Pack N Play.

We still using a PlayZone - it's so great! We've got 2 of them and it created a pretty big play area for the girls.

We bought a pack'n'play and it wasnt worth the money. It just wasnt big enough for 2 babies! I just went out and bought a superyard and they love it. It gives them more then enough room to move and it is big enough I can use it when they get older too.
