Mine is scheduled at 38 weeks.. Im wondering how many of you made it to the date of your c-section or did you end up going into labor before it?

Mine was scheduled for 39 weeks. I was told that was just a formality because they couldn't schedule a c section any earlier. My ob was pretty sure I wouldn't make it that far and she was right! Good luck!

I have made it to each of my scheduled c-sections:

    singleton #1 38+1
    singleton #2 39+1 (I think, maybe +2)
    twins 38+5

My OB swore I would never make it to 38+5 with the twins, but I crossed my legs and did.

Mine was scheduled at 36w5d (was supposed to be 37w but my OB wanted to do it before everyone disappeared for the Thanksgiving holiday). I think I was a tiny bit in labor (my contractions that I'd had since 29 weeks seemed to be increasing) but it was never enough to warrant going in early.

I was 38wk3d when we scheduled my section as both mine were breech - Z being a footling and I made it to my section date 2 days later. The duo were born at 38w5d and I showed NO signs of going into labor.

We scheduled my c-section in October for January 3. No one in that office felt like we would make it neither did my peri. But they would not schedule it for any less than 38 weeks. At 29 weeks we found that Addison had growth issues and low fluid so at each visit (twice a week) they told us that if things got any worse that they would do the c-section right then. Somehow, we made it to Jan 3- 38 weeks! Now looking back on it I was having some pretty good contractions that morning but didn't think much of it - I wonder had I not been scheduled if the girls would have been born that day anyway? or maybe my nerves made my already irritable uterus even more irritable?

Scheduled at 38 weeks and kept my date with the doctor, much to my dismay-I was ridiculously uncomfortable by that point.

I was scheduled for 38 weeks and made it to that day. As a matter of fact, they did put me on the monitor for contractions and I think it went up to 20 and my mother commented, "Oh look, you're barely having a contraction!" I always joke that if my kids had their way, they'd still be in the womb!

I was scheduled for 38w1, and my water broke at 37. Four hours later I was holding my boys (labor came fast but both were breech so they moved me in as soon as there was an OR).

C-section was scheduled for the first day of my 37th week... I made it to 36 weeks 2 days. My blood pressure had spiked and they wanted the babies out.
