Those w/18 month old girls(s)

The girls had their 18 month checkup, and the doctor was talking about how big my girls are. He said they were perfect and healthy, and was very pleased with them...especially when I said thank you as he was leaving the room, and Maddie looked up at him and said, "tank you"

Anyways, Gracie was 33 inches and 26lbs 15oz and Maddie was 34 inches and 27lbs 15oz (its crazy that they have pretty much been exactly one lb apart since the day they were born)

So, how tall are your 18 month old girls or girl? Just curious, b/c I was a REALLY tall toddler and pre-schooler, and I wonder if they will be, too.

 

My daughter is two now but at her 18-month check up, she was 31 1/2 inches.

 

Jazz was 33 1/2 inches and 27lbs Jess was 31 1/2 and 22lbs. Jessy is under weight and height but Jazzlyn was like at 80% for growth so your girls aren't the only ones out there!

 

Mine were both 31" at 18 months. The doctor said that's 50th percentile, but I don't know how wide the curve is (i.e., is 33" in the 60th percentile, or the 90th?). Your ped should have made a note of the percentile somewhere....

Mine certainly seem short to me, since they always seem to be one size behind in pants (they're in 12m pants now). FWIW, they were 22.5 and 24 lbs at 18 months.

 

i got the chart, but they didn't write the percentiles in. the chart doesn't show the percentiles...just that they are above the normal range for their age.

 

Kate was 31 1/2 inches and 23 lbs even (we just went yesterday). She was in the 50th for height, but only the 30 for weight.

 

At 18 months, Morgan was 34" and Brooke was 35".

At 2yrs old, Morgan was 35.5" and Brooke was 36".

 

You know the funniest part of all this is that my bestfriend has a tiny little girl. She is 16 months, and is like 17.5 lbs and 28 inches tall. When we are out in public together, people have asked if my girls and her girl were sisters, as in older and younger, not triplets. And, people always guess mine to be around 2 years old and her girl under one year. anyways...just rambling.

 

At 3 years old my Isabella is 35" 29 lbs & Marissa is 34 1/2" 26 lbs. I checked - at 18 months they were 30 1/2" & 31". I am very tiny - 5' & dh is Asian size (not Yao Ming but normal Asian) at 5'7" - we expect our girls to be peanuts.

 

33 inches is 75 % and 34 inches is 90%

 

see, I'm almost 5'8" so I'm fairly tall, and dh is around 5'10" or 5'11"

Both of my girls are 32 inches tall and weigh around 21 and 22 lbs. They aren't 18 months yet, they are all most 15 months old. Sorry for jumping in, I thought I'd put my 2 cents in since my girls are around the same in height.

 

I just measured my girls the other day and they are tiny! Josie is 28.5 inches and Bella is 29 inches!

 

Mine were 31 inches at 15 months, and they are definitely getting taller but not sure how tall until they have their 18 month appointment on 10/2.

 

We don't have 18 month appts. Is our pedi. the only one who doesn't do them???

But at 15 months Emilie was 29.5 inches.

 

Both of mine measured 32 inches last month but only 23 lbs a piece. The doc said they were in the 60% for height so I am sure yours are in a much higher percentile than that. I am 5'9" and my hubby is 6'0'. I am hoping my girls are at least as tall as I am.

 

I dont have an official height b/c our 18 month appt is next month but my girls are 17 months old and are a few inches taller then a 32" high table. So I am guessing they are 34" tall and they both weigh about 25 lbs. They are really tall! I am only 5'3 and they are already half as tall as I am! My dh is 5'7 so we arent tall people. I am hoping they take after my dad's side of the family, my dad is 6'2, my brother is 6'9 and my great grandfather was over 7'.

 

At their 18 mo check up, mine were 31 1/2" 21lbs 5 oz and 33 1/4" 22lbs 4 oz.

 

My DD at 17 months was 30 1/8 inches and 21 lb 3 oz. She's always been a peanut though.

 

DD was only 30.5 at 18 months.. My babies are pretty short. DS was only 30 I think.

 

Do I get the 18mo "peanut award"? Ellie is 18mo today, and while our appointment isn't for a couple of weeks, Ellie was 17 pounds at a year, approx 27 inches at a year, and is currently wearing size 6-9mo summer clothes. Based on the length of my 4mo nephew, my sister estimates Ellie at 27-28 inches.

 

We had our 18 month appointment yesterday and both girls are 22lbs and 33 inches. The are only about 20% for weight and close to 85% for height. They are tall and skinny. The pedi isn't worried about their weight. They are still continuing along their growth curve. They are just light weights. I do believe they are taking the identical thing to heart!

 

At 18 months my girls were about 30". They were preemies, but I think they are small even for adjusted age. Weird. I'm 5'7" and their Daddy is 6'2".

 

At our 18 month appointment, Zoey was 28.75 inches and 20.5 pounds and Lucy was 28.5 inches and 18 pounds. They were both in the 3rd percentile for height.

 

At 18 months, my girls were 32 inches(Lily) and 34 inches (Bell)

 

Maya was 32 1/2 inches and 21.1 pounds at her 18 month check up.
