What does your afternoon/evening look like? How much do your babies drink/eat? When? My babies get really tired by 5:30, 6pm and are ready for bed. The only problem is that they just woke up at 4pm or 4:30 and drank a bottle. So it is too soon to feed them a whole bottle at 6pm. I'm not sure how to transition their day.

My guys are a little older - but about the same adjusted....

Our day goes something like this:

    6:30 wake
    7:00 bottle 8oz
    8:30 solids (cereal & fruit)
    9:00 nap
    10:00 wake - playtime
11:30 solids (protien - egg, yogurt, cheese, tofu - & fruit or veggie)
    12:30 bottle 8oz
    1:00 nap
    3:00 wake - play
    3:30 snack bottle 4oz
    3:45 play
    5:00 solids (veggie and cereal)
    5:30 bath
    6:00 bottle
    6:30 bed

Each day can vary by 1/2 hour or so depending on when they wake up in the morning and from naps...but if my guys aren't down between 6:30 - 7:00 they get really cranky and fussy and won't go down...FWIW, they used to take a quick 20-30 minute cat nap in their swings around 4 - 4:30 before they transitioned to two naps...

Most nights because they do go to bed earlier than they wake up..ie they wake up at 7:15, but can barely stay up past 6:15....I end up cluster feeding them before bed so there is only 2 hours between the bedtime bottle and the one before. They drink most of the bottle so they don't seem to mind!

We have a shorter time between bottles and food at the end of the day too. Ours are about the same age too.

    Our schedule is:

    6:30-7 wake bottle
    9 cereal
    9:30-10 nap
    11-11:30 bottle
12:30 snack (soon to be lunch)
    1-1:30 nap
    2:30-3 bottle
    4:30-5 dinner (with juice)
    5:30-6 bath
    6:30 bottle
    7:00-7:30 bed

My guys are much older...but they still go down b/w 6:30 and 7:00PM. Their schedule is as follows:

    6:00-7:00AM Wake up
    7:00- bottle
    8:30-solids
    b/w 9-9:30-Nap
if not awake by 11:00, wake then bottle
    1:00-solids
    b/w 1:30-2:00 nap
    after wake up, 3:30ish, bottle
    5:00 solids
    6:15ish-bottle
    BED

This schedule works SO well for us. It takes time to get into a routine, but once you do...it is so great!!!!

Our day goes pretty much like this:

    7am wakeup
    7:30am bottle
    9:00am nap
    10:00am'ish breakfast
11:30am bottle (trying to get rid of this one by giving sippies with formula at breakfast and lunch, but not successful yet)
    1:00pm nap
    2:30pm lunch
3:30pm bottle (this will be the next one we try to get rid of)
4:00pm (occasionally a nap if the other 2 naps were short)
    6:00pm dinner
    6:45pm bath (every other night)
    7:00pm bottles, bed

Mine guzzle down that 7pm bottle, even though they just ate dinner.

We'd like to switch to 1pm lunch and 2:00pm nap, but they take their morning nap too early and we can't get them to break that habit.

My 2 are the same by 5.30 -6pm they are ready for sleep. My day goes like this:

    7am -wake
    7.30am - bottle
    8.15 - solids
    8.45-9.45- play
    9.45 - 11.am - nap
    11am- wake
    11.30- bottle
12.15 -solids and sippy cup (we are trying to practise)
    12.45-2pm - play
    2pm - 3.30am- nap
    4pm - bottle
    5pm- solids
    6.15pm - Bottle
    6.30 - bath
    7pm - bed

It is hard to keep them up that long and they are grumpy but i am trying anything to try and get them to sleep through the night! I know the last 2 feed are together but if i dont give them that much food they will not last very long as Jack is one hungry boy x

We are generally in bed and asleep by 7pm. Our schedule goes something like this during the week (at least I think so, since they are at the babysitters):

    6:30 wake and get dressed
    6:45 morning bottle
8:00ish breakfast solids (with water sippy)
    9:00ish nap
11:30 or 12:00 lunch solids (with water sippy)
1:00 to 2:00 or so nap
2:00 to 2:30ish snack with formula sippy (which they usually don't drink)
5:00 dinner solids with water sippy
    6:30 or 6:45 bedtime bottle
    Asleep in crib by 7:00pm

We are getting ready to drop the morning bottle and see how it goes. Our pedi wants them off bottles by the time they are a year old. We only have a couple of weeks to go!
