It all went so well. We arrived at 6:30am for all the prepping. He got to wear the most adorable little hospital gown I have ever seen and Momma got to wear a gown that was identical to the one I wore for my c-section. (It brought back memories.) They also gave him a very cute teddy bear which once we got home his sister pretty much claimed.

When it was his turn to go in, I carried him to the operating table and sang to him while they put him to sleep. I then want to the waiting room in tears. I was so scared. 20 minutes later the Doctor comes out and says all is fine and it went well. They decided not to take his adenoids as they were not too bad, so in a year or so he will likely get them out.

Then we were taken to the PACU where I was handed a sleeping baby. It was in my arms he woke up and the screaming began. It was terrible. The room has about 10 screaming babies in it. I called it the crying chamber. After about 20 minutes there they said we could go home. He was still have asleep and crying. Once we got outside he was fine and has been ever since.

He came home and ate a waffle and drank some milk. He had his usual nap and lunch. He truly has been a trooper.

The best news of all is he has been babbling all day. Mostly just Dada still but way more and we even got a vavava.

I am happy it is over with, very proud of my son, and very lucky to have Twinstuff.

    Thanks so much!

So glad to hear that it all went well! Isn't it amazing how quickly they bounce back. After Meara's surgery on Friday we were in the backyard playing by the afternoon :)

See it wasn't as bad as you thought. The waking was the worse part of it.

the waking was downright terrible but mostly because all the babies were feeding off of each other and screaming louder ans harder. We were the 9th family in the room and more were coming and coming. It was a circus!

Glad it went well, I hope you are able to get a restful night sleep as I am sure there was not much of it last night.

I still have the teddy bear one of my children received after their surgery over 4 years ago! I will probably keep it forever!!

    Enjoy the babbling!
