This will also pass

Just had such a bad night last night with DS, ended up sleeping with him in the guest room. He is teething, has a runny nose (not sure if the teething is causing this or if he has a cold) and on top of this, cries if you leave the room. I know this will also pass, but just so exhausted and have to go to work. Lying with him last night though of all the moms that are also not sleeping.

I hope that you are managing at work and that your little boy will slepp better next night.

It will pass, but to be honest it will also come again and again - at least when one of them is sick. Moms just have to make it through the days after those nights - no choice, it makes us stronger.

 

Nights like that are so tough. Sometimes I wake up and all I can think about is when I can go back to bed. Hopefully, it was just a fluke and you get more rest tonight.
