This Week's Milestones Jan. 29-Feb. 4

This is our weekly milestone thread for the week of Jan. 29-Feb. 4. Please reply to this thread with any milestone you are reaching this week. WTG Ladies, you are doing great. :Clap:

 

Here's a fun milestone: I can really feel the babies kick now! I'll be 20 weeks tomorrow. I've felt those "what was that?" flutters for a couple of weeks now, but no "kicks." That changed this weekend! It is an amazing feeling. My husband was even able to feel it by putting a hand on my belly. I can especially feel Baby A (my doctor said her placenta was positioned in a way that would make feeling her easier than Baby B; one's posterior and one's anterior) but I think I feel Baby B sometimes too. It's just the neatest feeling. Will it ever start to hurt as they get bigger?

 

It's fun when you start to feel them move - definitely the best part of the pregnancy, in my opinion

I'm at 29 weeks and I haven't had any really painful kicks yet - and both of mine (esp Twin A) are pretty active. But sometimes I feel like one of their knees is lodged in my ovary - so a little discomfort, but nothing bad. The movements recently feel smaller than what I had been used to, so maybe this is around the time when they start to run out of room and can't do flips as easily.

PS - Last week I was having some pain and spent a day in the clinic and Birthing Pavilion and had two ultrasounds four hours apart. The babies went from transverse/transverse to vertex/breech between the two scans! So now I've given up trying to guess what positions they are in.
