This Week's Milestones 5/11-17

This is our weekly milestone thread for the week of May 11-17. Please reply to this thread with any milestone you are reaching this week. WTG ladies, you are doing great! :yahoo:

 

I will be 33 weeks on Wednesday.

 

My doctors really wanted me to at least make it to 28 weeks after having fetal laser surgery and I officially reached it yesterday, hooray!!!

 

Im 23w1d... I have been feeling yucky. Lots of back pain and not wanting to be pg anymore but i know these boys have lots of cooking to do. I think i am just having a depressing day cause i feel fat, ugly and old. My bday is tomorrow. Pity party for me!

I'm sorry you are feeling so down. :hug99: When you are pregnant with twins you can have all the pity parties you want, just remember what a fantastic job you are doing cookin' those babies and what a wonderful momma you are. :hug99: Happy {one day early} Birthday.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I will be 30 and i know its not terribly old but like i said just feelin yucky, fat and old. Hopefully tomorrow i will have a good day. My DD Angelina told me "Mommy you are not old and its the boys fault you feel fat"! Already blamming her brothers. Hilarious!! :rotflmbo:

:laughing: That is too funny about your daughters comments! She's right though, she's a smart cookie! And 30 isn't old, I thought life ended at 30 and here I am 2.5 months later alive and kickin'.

Hello ladies. I'm the new girl. I'm 10 and a half weeks pregnant with twins and couldn't be more happy (or more miserable from the all day sickness). I guess this is a milestone for me just because my last (and only other pregnancy) didn't make it past 8 weeks. Oh, and I'll be 30 on July 2nd, just around the corner.

 

30 weeks on Monday - Hooray!!!! 11 weeks on bed rest and so far, i haven't lost my mind. Had my doctor's appt yesterday and he put me on modified bed rest from strict bed rest. Only problem is, i am having a lot of difficulty walking. so much pelvic pain, i can't stand it - no pun intended. so i'm still basically on complete bed rest because i'm in too much pain to walk. i know i need to try but i'd rather wait until 32 weeks after the babies growth scan.

32 weeks and going strong! I feel better than I have so far, actually. Makes me feel kind of bad that I didn't make more effort to attend my brother's wedding this weekend, but a cross-country trip at 33 weeks with twins just didn't seem like a good idea.

 

I will be 35 weeks on friday :banana: :banana: I didnt think I would ever make it this far. Last friday when I went in I was dialated to 2 cen. and 80% so hopefully I can hold them in just a little longer.

:hug99: It's hard momma, but just think of the great thing you are doing. You are getting SO close. Let us know what you find out at the next growth scan.

:acute: Don't say you feel bad! There's no way you'd know you would feel better. :hug99: Plus, you are right, 33 weeeks pregnant with twins cross country could have been too much for you.

I'm 23weeks 2days today. And 30 is not old at least thats what I keep telling myself. I will be 32 in August.

 

We made it to 24 weeks today!! Yay!! Both girls are doing great, I'm measuring 30 weeks, and my weight gain is in check. No signs or symptoms of pre-eclampsia (a huge plus!)

Just had to share!!
