This Week's Milestones 11/8-14

I made it to 24 weeks - the last three weeks have been on home bed rest as I have a dynamic/funneling cervix. We are expecting identical boys and we keep trying to encourage them to stay in for another 12 weeks

 

I will be 22 weeks tomorrow. I have my biweekly OB appointment in the morning and my insurance company is sending an OB nurse to my home in the afternoon to educate me on preterm labor. I'm looking forward to her counsel.

Hi everyone!

I'm fairly new here. I hit 16 weeks on Thurs!!! I'm REALLY looking forward to my anatomy scan in 1 1/2 weeks! I had a serious bleeding issue and a subchorionic hematoma diagnosed at 8.5 weeks, and spent 4 weeks on bedrest. I'm so relieved to have made it this far and praying to keep going strong. I'm just counting the weeks to viability now!

 

Okay here's my milestone.

I hit 35 weeks this past Tuesday! It seemed like this stage would never come...although I'm dying already for it to be over.

I shouldn't complain too much as I've done so well and have no real issues to speak of. No swelling really even, just major discomfort, heartburn, sleeplessness, etc.

Had my first 3 tri cervical check yesterday which I thought was going to make me pass out it was so painful. Does anyone else find them excruciating??? And to top it off in the end he found nothing! It was so high and tight that he could barely reach it and though both babies are head down there is no pressure on it yet even! Here I was clinging to the thought that there'd be a little effacement or a tiny bit of dilation to indicate that they'll be ready to come out in a couple of weeks...but no way, they are happy in there for the long haul!

I am soooo done!
