This Week's Appointments Sept. 14-18

I have Sono and OB visit later this afternoon. I will have my first internal exam as well so I am very anxious too see how things are holding up. I kind of feel something is up since I started to loose my mucus plug as of yesterday, yikees. With Claudia I started to loose my mucus plug and 2 weeks later she was born. I will post an update after the appt.

We just got back from our big 20 week ultrasound.

It's a boy and girl!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!

The tech said that everything looked ok but we won't officially know until our next OB appt in two weeks. The only time she hesitated was with Baby B's (girl) heart. Said she couldn't get a good angle on it and kept coming back. So we'll see in two weeks. I hate having to wait for that.

I still have some Placenta Previa but it was only the end of the placenta over the cervix, not the entire thing. So it's technically complete because the whole cervix is covered but it's only the tail end of the placenta.

I have my big U/S on Thursday and I am SO excited. Not only to possibly find out the sexes, but just to see how my little jumping beans are doing!

 

I still have my regular appt & u/s tomorrow, but I ended up at the dr yesterday as well. I lost some or all of the mucous plug thing yesterday morning, and they wanted me to get checked out just to be safe. I moved from 2 cm (last Fri) to "3 good cm" yesterday but all looked ok. I know that some people pass their plug and are still pregnant for weeks, so we'll see how it goes. (Although now reading this thread with Agnes passing hers having just read her birth story I'm not so sure!) No contractions yet, just pressure. I would love to make it through the weekend mainly to get to 36 weeks and also DH's birthday is Saturday. (I figure they're already sharing with each other, no need to share the day with someone ELSE too!) But I'm also calm in the "what happens, happens" sort of way...they've been estimated at good weights all along so I know they'll be ok.
