This Week's Appointments Oct. 25-29

Another appointment Thursday with my OB! The ultrasound went well with the peri last week... except for him and the tech disagreeing on the possible genders. I guess we'll see more clearly at 16 weeks.

 

I went to my OB today and got my gbs done and he checked my cervix. I am 2cm dilated so he says he doesn't think I will make it to 38 weeks but for me to take it easy. I go tomorrow to have my first NST done!

 

How far along are you now?

 

I go to the OB tomorrow and he will continue cervix checks to see if I am dilating. Last week an u/s showed my cervix at 1.2 but he thought it was closer to 2cm. He said he will not do anymore cervical u/s because clearly I am shortening it is just a matter of when I will start to dilate. I am on modified bed rest now. Trying to hold out a few more weeks!

 

Final ultrasound tomorrow! The countdown is on and our delivery date is a week from Friday!

 

I am 35 weeks 2 days!

 

Had my appt with MFM specialist. Both weigh 1 lb. Doing great. Both still girls. Still concerned about placentia previa. One is over the cervix, the other right beside at a 45 degree angle to the other one. I go back in 3 weeks to monitor it. Hoping they both migrate so I don't have to go on bedrest at some point.

I have been having terrible headache that I can't get rid of. He gave me permission to take excedrin to help. That will be nice.

 

I had my appointment this morning and am in the hospital now. I am 80%effaced and 2cm dilated. I am very nervous and just praying to get another week or more. But for now I just sit.

 

Had my final ultrasound this morning. Both babies are doing excellent, and both are weighing in at about 7lbs 8oz each. Just a little over a week to go and I can't wait!

 

Had my first NST today! It took an 1 1/2 hour because baby B would not cooperate and stay in one place. But once he did both of there heart rates were great!!!!!!

 

Had our appointment with the Perinatalogist yesterday and things are going so well with this pregnancy that they don't need to see me again unless I have complications. We are so happy with this news! Baby "A" is 51% @ 1# 12oz and Baby "B" is 47% @ 1# 10oz. My cervix is measuring at 5.29 so the Dr was super super happy! They still did the fFN swab but would be super surprised if it came back positive.

 

Forgot to reply earlier. My appt went well, it was just a quick talk pretty much. My OB wants me to alternate peri visits (u/s visits) and seeing her so I see someone every 2 weeks. She still says to limit my weight gain to 20-25 lbs but I told her I was going to eat when I was hungry and gain whatever I am meant to gain.
