im having my 32 week ultrasounds on thursday..wish me luck! at our last appt, both boy and girl were fine, no weight issues with them, im still walking around ok, and my cervix was ok too! been reading a few horror stories of people (around this time) having their cervix start to shrink and bring on labour and go on forced bed rest, so right now, i REALLLLLLLLLY dont want that to happen....LOL..cross your fingers its still fine, and i'll update you all thursday evening :D

    cheers for now!

Good luck! I had to stop reading anything on the internet ... If I had a question I came here and asked or asked my doc but I had to stop myself from doing any internet "research " bc I was making myself a nervous wreck! Lol

I'm new here! I have my 16 week ultrasound/appt on the 25th. Hoping both are healthy(I'm super paranoid because I feel nothing, no symptoms, except tiredness and a little soreness, and no movement beyond a little tickle a few weeks ago). We should also be able to find out the gender!

UPDATE: Both babies are healthy, hb's 150 and 152. Baby B is definitely a BOY! The u/s tech is wavering on whether they are mono-di(not sure why, their membrane has been difficult to find and very thin starting at our first u/s at 7 weeks), Baby A was shy, so due to the questionable zygosity, the gender of Baby A is still a mystery :). I had assumed that my placenta was anterior due to a lack of baby movement, but the tech checked and it's fundal, so who knows why I don't feel them because they are super active on the u/s, I am a normal weight, and I felt my singletons much earlier than this. We have our first visit with the MFM dr on 11/26 to try to determine zygosity, the gender of Baby A, and make sure there are no complications.

Yay on the good appointment! I hope they can figure out baby A's gender (if it's a girl, then you'll know zygosity easily!).

My baby A turned out to be a girl. We didnt find out until 24 weeks, lol! She kept it hidden! My DH said she better keep it that way for thw next 30 years, lol! It drove me nuts not knowing for so long but I had a feeling she was a girl!

    Congrats on the great appt!

UPDATE!--- well, everything went well at the 32 week ultrasounds..ive gained exactly 30 pounds so far in 32 weeks so i guess thats good?..and both baby boy and baby girl are 4 pounds each, so that's great, as well, no issues with their amniotic fluid or anything like that, they are both still kicking up a storm inside of me and making my ribs start to hurt now once in awhile, LOL. My cervix is still at 3cm (no shrinkage at all) so from what i understand thats still good? (or if anyone can correct me on this please do!!).....i see my OB again in less than two weeks for a non stress test and from then on out every week for continual no stress tests...yay me, LOL...he said that if i continue to go at this rate with no major medical issues (like PP or others) then i should be able to carry them to around the 38 week mark or so...WOW! wasnt expecting that kinda timeframe, figured it would be earlier since so many women i read about give birth to twins earlier on, but i obviously the longer they are in me, the healthier they will be and the avoidance of the NICU dept as well!!

the only minor issue that i have to go back for again on monday is to retest my blood pressure, as it was 'elevated'....normally, im always 110/70 or 105/65!! for this appt, i was 120/90 so yes abit elevated....sigh.....but no other factors that would lead to pre-eclampsia (yet..yikes) so cross your fingers its all good on monday as well....guess i just need to REALLY double check my salt intake with some of the packaged foods i've been eating and add more potassium to my diet, which i know will help with minor high blood pressure issues...any other suggestions are more than welcome!! :D
