Ultrasound Thursday with the peri! I am going there for the first time and it looks like I have an appointment with a doctor so I wonder if he will do the ultrasound? I have questions I'd like answered by the peri and then my OB to gauge how my OB handles a twin pregnancy.

Went to my OB appointment today. They were suppose to schedule my c-section but if they did, they didn't tell me when it is. I go back next week and they are going to start weekly Non Stress test. They are also going to do the group b strep test and check my cervix.

Had cervical u/s today. Measured at 1.2cm. Saw OB after. He checked my cervix and I am not dilated at all still feel firm and he thinks cervix feels more like 2cm. He gave me option of hospital bed rest or home. Although he says there is NO evidence that bed rest will keep me pregnant longer. Best case is that the lack of activity will keep me from contracting as much. I am not really having too many contractions because I am on Procardia. Eventually he said the thinning from the inside will lead to the dilating on the outside and bed rest will not stop that. He said that the reason Dr's put women on bed rest (except for incompetent cervix) is to "please the mom" so they feel like they are doing something and so that when a friend is put on bed rest for a similar issue your Dr. is not the "bad Dr" I am willing to do strict bed rest on the off chance it does work. I was on strict bed rest with a singleton just because of a pos Ffn at 29 weeks and made it to 37 so I tend to think it works... anyway we will see... sorry to rant on and on. I am measuring 38 weeks and just praying to make it at least 2 more weeks. My OB must be somewhat optimistic because he had me schedule weekly up to 36 weeks!

Saw OB yesterday and both babies are Transverse. The Dr told me it's not looking good for a vaginal delivery and I am trying not to freak out! I really don't want a c-section!!! :(

You still have plenty of time and the babies have plenty of room to move around. My baby A has gone from head down to breech back to head down (where she was today) Baby B has been transverse the entire time. However, my OB will deliver vaginal as long as baby A is head down. He just said he will reach in and bring baby B feet first. OR he will do a c-section if I want. Don't worry yet!!!

Thanks! My OB will not do a Breech extraction, both babies have to be head down for me to deliver with her. the Perinatal docs all have different opinions, it just depends on who is on to deliver and they have 5 in the practice.
