This Week's Appointments Oct. 11-15

Regular OB appointment on Wednesday and then weekly after that!

 

I saw my OB this morning and she will be scheduling my C-section next week. Both boys are healthy and strong but Elijah twin b is breech. I saw peri this afternoon and had u/s Zachary twin a is 4lbs 6oz and Elijah twin b is 4lbs 3oz.!!!!!! I am so glad that both babies are doing great and that I only have about a month left!!!!!!

 

Saw OB today, babies are doing great, he tested for GBS and also checked my cervix. Babies are still high and no dialiation as of yet. CSection is officially scheduled for Nov. 5, which will be 37w6d.

 

Had appointment today for progesterone injection and Ffn test. I will have those results later today. The NP checked my cervix and said it still feels long and no dilation Maybe I will surprise everyone and go to 37 weeks with healthy babies that will come home with me!!!

 

Well the nurse just called and my FfN was positive this time I have to be back in an hour for the first steroid injection and again tomorrow. I am not dilated at all so I am hoping to hang in there a few more weeks. I am now on modified bed rest. No shopping, no cooking, no cleaning (I am nesting so bad this will be hard) pelvic rest pretty much sit back and watch my DH become Mr. Mom. I can do this! Just a few more weeks.. come on babies stay in a bit longer PLEASE!

 

Sorry to hear you had to go on bed rest....it's not easy watching the men take over everything, but you can do it!

I had an ultrasound yesterday and met my peri and the nurses at the high risk clinic. They didn't check for growth this week but babies both have good fluid and movement, and my cervix stayed the same. So I'm still off shopping, walking, lifting, etc. but at least I'm still at home! I also got a call from my midwife and I get to keep her as a support person! Which I am really happy about because as much as I liked the doctor and she definitely knew her stuff, she is one busy lady.

 

Do you have any forum that you speak about your experience with twins born so early and the long term effects if any? I hope this is not too personal

 

I saw my OB last tuesday!!! I heard the babies heart beats. It was amazing!
He still want to check one more time the fifth disease, to make sure I did't get any contagious since I am not imune!
For now everything is Ok, I have my sonogram next Thursday to see how's the things going with this double trouble!

My family doctor just call me and she wants that I repeat my blood work for Thyroid because I have Hypothyroid and in my last blood work, I was on the limit, so she wants that I repeat in 2 weeks to make sure is just my hormones being a little bit crazy because the pregnancy or she has to increase the dose!
