This Week's Appointments Nov. 30-Dec. 4

I have a follow up ultrasound tomorrow morning (10.5 weeks). This will be the first one since we first saw them both at 7.5. We had a vanishing twin in my last pregnancy between 8 and 9 weeks, so definitely a little nervous!

 

Level 2 ultrasounds this week!! We're so excited--It will take a couple hours but I can't wait to get a really in depth glimpse at the kids!

 

soooooooooo nervous! I have an apt tomorrow, Tuesday, to check for heart beats! We only saw two sacs last check. Im so scared. Its like after having so many losses having two would just be too good to be true. If its too good to be true it just must be! GOSH what a terrible thought! I just want this(these babies) so much. I believe in life at conception and I just want to see both beating hearts more than anything in the world!

 

I have my 32 week OB appt and a Ultrasound to check for growth on Friday Dec. 4th

 

We had our appointment yesterday - both babies are doing fantastic. Heartbeats are 158 and 140. They are laying head to feet, both across my belly button area. Baby B is 'still' a girl and Baby A is still being a bit shy. The ultrasound tech said that she's "sure" (ha,ha) about B, being a girl and offered her best guess that A is a girl too because she "didn't see any boy parts." She tried for a while, which I appreciated but the baby was laying indian style. So it's likely we're having two little girls...our 4 y/o son told us from the beginning that they were both girls.

Doctor was very happy about cervix length too - 4cm, so no shortening or funneling (we're 18 weeks today). We go back for another ultrasound in two weeks.

 

I'm new here. We just found out two weeks ago that we were having twins, when I went in for an ultrasound to see how far along I was. We could only see two sacs. Tomorrow (Wed) I have a second ultrasound to check for two heartbeats and get a better idea how far along I am. As much of a shock as it was to find out there were two babies, I am so afraid that they will only see one heartbeat. I am praying hard to see two healthy heartbeats! On Thursday, I will have my first OB appt with my new doctor, who specializes in multiples and high-risk pregnancies.

All was well - both babies were wiggling around and looking great for 10.5 weeks. Have an NT test next week, so we'll get to see them again and in more detail, then

 

Had my first appt. with our specialist today and we found out we are having boys!!! I already have a boy and girl so we couldn't be happier with our growing fam! My cervix was long and closed, thankfully and the babes u/s's looked great! The placentas were so close together but they said they were pretty sure there was two. They are going to watch this closely. I sure hope there is two placentas.It was a great day! Looking forward to my 2nd dose of 17P shot tomorrow.

Had a fantastic 30 week u/s!! Cervix is still nice and long. Both babies are measuring 4 lb, and measuring almost 2 weeks ahead!!! Could not be happier with how well they are doing!!! :banana:
