This is my second week of twice-weekly appointments. I have a biophysical profile and peri appt tomorrow (11/24) and another biophysical profile on Friday. Last week's bpp's went well - the boys are cooperative and doing lots of practice breathing. At 32 weeks they were approximately 3lbs 8oz and 4lbs 5oz.

I'll be 33 weeks this week!

I'm going for my 'big anatomy' scan tomorrow at 17.5 weeks! Hoping to find out their genders...and more importantly, that they are healthy and doing great. I also will get my cervix measured, since I'm having these annoying contractions that (we hope) is attributed to my history of irritable uterus. I'll post when I get home tomorrow!!!!

I just had my appointment today with my peri for the first trimester screen. Both babies had normal measurements and they looked great. We spent a while also trying to figure out the sex of each baby but with no luck. I am only 12 weeks and she was going back and forth on one baby being either girl or a boy. I am very relieved to have had a great appointment. I get very nervous with all these screening tests.

I'm back from my anatomy scan!!!! Geesh, those things take a long time with two babies! The best news is I also had a scan of my cervix since I'm already having contractions...and my cervix is still nice and VERY long...wahoo!! Both babies measured right on track, were moving EVERYWHERE and looked fantastic! And...

We found out we're having a boy and a girl!

    We're ecstatic!

I'm 35 weeks and 3 days, I went to my OB today and they checked my cervix. Baby A is super low and I'm 2cm dilated and 70% effaced. 2 weeks ago I was not dilated at all and only 30%.. I'm hoping to stay preg until atleast saturday (to make it to 36 weeks), but I'm wondering how much longer it will be.. With my first son I was 1cm and 30% right at 36 weeks and I went into labor a few days later and my son was born at 36 weeks 5 days...

I can't believe it's already final countdown time...

Baby A was so uncooperative today - my biophysical profile took forever, but he finally passed. They took bloodwork for complete panels, to check for HELLP. It's been 3-4 weeks since they last did a complete panel and with the nausea that is starting to settle in, I know they are being cautious. I developed HELLP at 35 weeks with DS, so I'm a tad nervous I may get a phone call!

    Another biophysical profile on Friday!

Congrats on a boy and girl!!!! How exciting! That's awesome that your cervix is long and closed:) Glad babies look great! What a way to celebrate Thanksgiiving! I see my specialist for the first time on Tuesday and I will be about 17.5 wks so we should find out the sex too! I'm hoping for a long and closed cervix with my irritable uterus as well:) Take care.
