This Week's Appointments May 9-13

Tomorrow I have my OB appointment and Wed is when I go back to have my cervical ultrasound to see if I dropped below 2cm. Please keep me in your prayers :thanks:

 

Got a good report today from my OB. Baby A went from 2lbs to 2lbs 8oz and baby B from 2lbs 3oz to 2lbs 13oz! They still have room and fluid and are looking great! Tomorrow is my big day to see how my cervix is holding up, will update asap.

 

I had my 30week appt on Monday, and the babies are doing great! A was 3lbs 13oz and B was 3lbs 11oz, and they were measuring 31weeks and change (1 week ahead!!!! ) My cervix has maintained its length, and is at 2.8, actually up from the 2.4 that sent me to the hospital a few weeks ago. Cervix is still dilated about 1 cm, and they are both head down - crossing fingers they stay that way so I can have a vaginal birth! If not, c-section it is. Doc still thinks I will only make it to 35weeks, so we will see!

 

I had an appointment with an NST earlier and the doctor was pleased with how everything was going. The last few weeks have been fairly uneventful. We stopped the progesterone shots as of last week because I was starting to have reactions to them. The babies have been doing awesome on the NST's. The doctor said we'd be chatting a lot more next week. I have an NST and ultrasound next week. She is interested in seeing their position and also if they're growing alright. They dropped down into the 9th and 10th percentiles last ultrasound. She said if they're still in that general range that she'll be alright to let me keep on going with the pregnancy since I've already had two small babies (might just be the way I grow them). But, if they've dropped any further she'll either want to schedule a c-section or induce soon. Also, we'll be looking at how baby A is positioned. She said if Baby A isn't vertex by next week we'll plan on a c-section, BUT she promised we'd do a last minute ultrasound before we started a c-section to make sure he doesn't change positions last minute. She is really pro-vaginal birth and I appreciate that. He hasn't been head down for quite a while. He has been flipping between transverse and breech. Hoping he gets his head down SOON!
