I have an appt with the other OB in the practice Thursday since my OB will be out of town the next two weeks!! OMG!! I am so scared I will go into labor in the next two weeks (35-36wks)when she isn't here. We have a planned C section in three weeks with my tubes to be tied, but if I go earlier, I need to know the other OB can handle everything just in case. Babies were 4lb 10oz and 5lb 7oz last Thursday so I am hoping that they are going to be a decent size when they get here!! I will update on Thursday!

Another weekly appointment on Wednesday... last week they checked for strep, but otheriwse I am not sure what to expect. No ultrasounds, they stopped measuring my belly. The boys are big (5 and 6 pounds!). No one has mentioned a NST... so we shall see.

I am back from my 26wk appt. I am measuring out at 35wks and have gained a total of 43lbs so far. Baby a decided to flip breech, but there is plenty of time and fluid so hopefully she will flip back to vertex. My ob did say he would deliver her breech if she was 6lbs or less though. Everything else looks good and I go back in 3wks.

Just got back from my 22 week appointment...was suppoesed to just be a cervical check but turned out to be a full appt! i am soo relieved to hear that my cervix is longer than last week. Up to 3.2 from 2.8. They actually took 4 or 5 measurents and the longest was 3.9, but they are really cautious and just went with the lowest. Both A and B are breech with good fluid levels. They both have all 4 chambers to the heart, and no cleft pallette. (that is what they checked for today). I am not sure how much weight I have gained because I stand on the scale backwards (don't wanna know:) but they said I have lost a pound since last week...LOL. I go back in 2 weeks.

I had my level II ultrasound on Tuesday. We found out we are having a BOY and a GIRL! The whole family is super excited. We have decided on names.....Alexander Craig (after both of our daddies) and Ayden Elizebeth (Eliz. spelled like my middle name). Alex and Ayden (we have an A last name). Alex is 11oz and Ayden is 9oz. The ultrasound was incredible! We saw their hearts, spine, brains, lips, fingers, leg bones. There is no mistaking they are sweet gifts from God.
Now the ultrasound tech did tell me I have a "mile long cervix" and that she feels sorry for me when I get to 37 weeks. Please help translate this. I don't know what she means.

Murtygirl, sounds like me pre-pregnancy. I always stand on the scale backwards and explain that my close weigh at least 10lbs. he he

Had my 36w appointment w/ultrasound yesterday. GBS was negative. Baby A is 4lb 14oz and Baby B is 5lb 11oz. Baby A is head-down and Baby B is breech, same as they were the last 2 ultrasounds. Everything looks great, head sizes differ by 12%, so I am a candidate for vaginal delivery, yay! If I don't go into labor on my own by the 16th (38w) then they will induce.

My appt on Thursday was great. Got to talk to the other OB in the practice who said she would be fine with doing my C Seciton if I go before my normal OB gets back. Hopefully I will make it though...just for at least the sake of the babies. I got my date for the C Section - June 22nd!! YAY!! Feel so close now! Nervous, but excited! Now just trying to get my bags completly packed and finish washing all we need for the babies. I go back next Thursday to have the GBS test and some other blood work. YAY!!!
