We had a fetal echo today and both girls have perfect little hearts. On the other side (good or bad?) the doctor wants us to have steroid shots this Thursday and Friday...Friday is my wedding day but I guess I'm getting up early for a shot! The girls have a 21% size discordance. We are 23 weeks and Baby A is 1lb 6 oz and Baby B is 1lb 1oz. I'm pretty worried about this shot...when did other people get them?

Get the shots! I got mine at 26 weeks and 31 weeks (due to PTL), and went on to have my boys at 32wks 4days. They require no breathing assistance at all, and I credit that to the shots!!! Good luck and congrats on your wedding ;)

I agree with this! I had them at 24, 28, and 31 weeks because of PTL. It does burn a little but that's about it!

I had them at 28 weeks and they didn't feel great but mine didn't need any breathing assistance either. (I carried them to 37w5d).

mommy to be x 2, I agree I would get the shot. I had one at 31 weeks due to ptl and delivered right before 36 weeks and mine had zero breathing issues. I really dont think it could hurt.
