This Week's Appointments June 28-July 2

July 1st is my next prenatal appointment

Today was my 31 week appointment. Things are still going great! The babies are so crowded now it's hard to even see tell what I'm looking at in the ultrasound. They weigh 3lb 11oz and 3lb 10oz. Getting bigger!! Heartrates were both 143. It was so exciting to see they both have a head FULL of hair!! So fun. The BIG news????......they are finally both head-down! We have been waiting on baby B to change positions and she sure did. YIIPPPEE!!

Also had my first NST today. Pretty boring, seeing how it took about 2 hours to complete. Baby A was being a stinker and just wanted to sleep. But things look great! I will go again on Thursday for another one. I pray they hang out in there a lot longer.

 

Today was my 28th week appointment with the doctor and also the peri ultrasound. Baby A is vertex, weight is 2lb 14oz and heart rate was 151. Baby B is breech, weight is 2lb 15oz and heart rate was 144. They are both doing great and my dr said they are textbook on the growth in both length and weight. Sooo happy about that.

 

appt went well, but the new doc I sawwasnt the best at explaining things. She did tell me the kids are growing well and all 3 of us look great. She said the rash on my tummy could be a heat rash or pups. its not heat bc I have been cold most of the day. So what is pups and what does that mean for us? I also had her check my cervix to see if i have dialated at all and all she told me was that its measuring at 4.5 or 2 she couldnt figure out which but when she push on my belly it didnt funnel so we should be ok. Any of that make sense to you ladies??

 

I had my 30wk appt today. Baby a is vertex and baby b is transverse. I measured out at 43wks and weighed 172lbs. He checked my cervix since I've been having contractions and said my cervix is nice and long and he wasn't worried about how dilated I was at all. I am to go to l&d if my contractions get more intense or start having a pattern, continue to stay off my feet, and I will see him in 2wks. We talked about about the delivery which was great and I will get my last cervix length scan friday.

oh also baby a is measuring at 31wks 4d and baby b is measuring at 32wks 3d......guess i am making big babies again

 

was she using her hands or an ultrasound wand? She definitely wasn't checking dilation since there is HUGE MASSIVE differences between 2cm (2 small fingertips in cervix) vs 4.5 (nearing the size of a can of soda.)

 

She used the wand, I am pretty sure she was measring the length of my cervix but she really didnt explain or seem concerned at all so I really dont know where we stand.
