This Week's Appointments July 19-23

I have a peri appt tomorrow and thursday.. crossing fingers that the cord issue with Baby A has resolved.

 

I have an OB appointment on Wednesday.

 

I have an appointment tomorrow - the triecta, LOL - growth scan, NST, and OB. I can't wait to see how much my babies grew in the last two weeks and what position Baby B is in this week. It seems like he flips at least once a week lately, but it's hard for me to tell how he ends up. I'm guessing maybe transverse this time.

 

We had our 35 wk appt today. The doc was very nice and knowledgable. She did the GBS and I must say that she was much nicer then the military was. The doc and MA warned me a couple of times and I told them its ok I know the drill so no worries. She checked me afterwords and I am dialated to 2 but still long. What does that mean exactly? I know what the dialated part is but what does it mean if I am still long? I asked her with my past track record does she think I will make it 3 more wks till dh is here. She gave me a wk, 2 MAX. I tried my best to keep the tears in until I got to the van then I lost it. Dh has already told me more then once that he doesn't think we will make it. Once he said he doesn't think I will make it to the end of the month then to day he said he feels its the 26th or 27th. Realistically it makes life easier to have them before he gets home between have 2 newborns and moving to a new aptlife will me crazy for a little bit. I just really wanted him to be here. But my sister has stepped up and said what needs to happen will and thats thats. She just called me and told me that while she is at work there is an on call list if anything happens. A different person (friends I have met thru her, who are great) has a different day just to keep everything under control. I am a bit more at ease with them showing without dh here but it still makes me cry....ALOT....
He did make me laugh alittle today when I talked to him about it. He said when I deliver without him I get another my dh is in the military stripe. But he did say if I call him and tell him I'm in labor during his History final he is going to kick my butt

 

I see my OB on Friday and get my next progesterone injection. I saw the NP last week when the BH contractions really were hitting. I am a bit nervous that my OB will say that my weight gain is too much too fast but I am eating really healthy, hardly any sweets but have gained 27 pounds (as of last Thurs) in just 16 weeks. I don't know what to expect at this appointment or when he will see me back. I have not had an appointment in 4 weeks. Very anxious for Aug 9th when we find out what we are having!

 

I had my specialist appointment today! We found out we are having two boys!!!!! They are both healthy and growing good! Baby A is 12oz. and baby B is 13oz.

I'm brand new to this forum but not quite new in having babies (I have 3 kiddos and expecting twins for December...)You are still long means that your cervix has not effaced yet, it has started to dilate but it still needs to efface...

I had my appointment yesterday (33 weeks). Things look pretty good. Cervix is still long, blood pressure low, no signs of PTL. She probably is going to schedule a 37 week induction or c-section mainly b/c they're big, breech, and I live over an hour from the hospital. So, looks like I have 4 weeks left. Feels very strange to have a tentative arrival week.

 

they failed the NST again. i ate a bagel/egg/cheese sandwhich 30min prior and a bag of m&m's 10min prior and then drank ice water during. They passed the BPP though. I go in for an OB appt next tuesday and another NST on wednesday

 

U/S today, fluid looks good kids look great. Leia is at 5 lbs 1 oz and Link is a whopping 5 lbs 10 oz!! Still no idea if I will make it another 2 wks or not but we are still praying.

 

Had my OB appointment yesterday. Both heart rates are good and the DR said they are di/di twins.(find out Aug 9 what the sexes are) I have gained 29 pounds which is a bit much so he said to watch my calories/carbs and cut out some of the juices. I guess I am on a pregnancy diet I had my progesterone injection and made the next 8 weeks of Dr and ultrasound appointments... which took longer than the DR visit!!

 

16 week appoint went great. They are measuring on Target AND are Boy/Girl!!! Yay!

 

Had our 32 week check up on Thursday. I've gained 30 pounds so far, my high blood pressure is normal, my second 3 hour glucose came back ok and no signs of PTL. OB said all looks good.

But he has now put me on weekly checkups. This coming Monday is my 32 week appointment with my peri and Friday will be my next OB's appointment. After that, I am scheduled to have an ultrasound and non-stress test on Tuesdays and non-stress test and OB's appointment on Thursdays for the next 7 weeks. I just wrote it all down on my calendar and it's a lot!!
