This Week's Appointments Jan. 11-15

We have our midwife visiting today. I think the babies have started to drop down a bit as my groin seems to have turned into a trampoline in the past week! Im hoping she will be able to feel them clearly. Now I just have to get through the morning with the other kids without getting my blood pressure up before she arrives. Don't you just love school holidays. :wacko:

I see my perinatologist for my 24.5 weeks check-up. Looking forward to what he says about my activity level and irritable uterus. I'll post when I'm home tomorrow!

 

I have an appointment at the Peri's office tomorrow for a biophysical profile and then an appointment on Thursday with the OB.

 

I have my OB appt on Thursday. I'm so anxious to hear their hbs cuz I keep feeling like something is wrong.

 

We had our appointment and ultrasound at the Peri's office today. Both babies looked WONDERFUL! I'm 19 weeks today and they were both 9 ounces. They are still saying one boy, one girl. Both heartbeats were great as well. Girl was 141, Boy was 159.

 

We have an ultrasound tomorrow (1/14), when the babies will be starting their 23rd week. We'll be confirming that they are girls. (Or at least I hope we confirm that they are girls. Otherwise, I have some pink bedding to take back!)

We're really excited for tomorrow because grandma will be coming with us. She's never had or seen an ultrasound (I'm adopted). She's over the moon with joy at getting the chance to see these little blessings in motion.

 

My appointment went well! The doc had to do a quick u/s since it's hard to get both hbs on the doppler. The babies are facing each other and were doing a lot of kicking and arm movement-but it was all at each other, which is why I think I haven't been feeling them as much lately! It was so neat to see them again! I even got a good face shot of one baby :wub:
