I just got back from a growth ultrasound and follow-up appt. I'm at 29w,5d and the last US a few weeks ago showed A and B pretty close in weight (they're di-di). Today, Twin A measured 3 lbs, 7 oz (85th percentile!) and Twin B measured 2 lbs, 11 oz (46th %). I was concerned about the difference, but afterward my OB said that those weights were in the normal range and she even confirmed with a high-risk OB who said the same. I still wish they were more similar in weight, but there's not really anything I can do about it. As my OB said today, the US weights are just guesstimates anyway.

Everything else looks good (fluid volume, etc). I'm coming back for another growth US in a little over two weeks, and then two weeks after, and then appointments will go to weekly.

Twin A was breech today, but she's been in every possible position in past ultrasounds, so I'm not going to worry yet about her turning. B is transverse and really high up. My OB said that if Twin A stays breech then they would schedule a C-section at 38-39 weeks (unless of course I go into labor sooner). I'm pushing for 38 weeks!

Jen: My Baby A was 50th percentile and my Baby B was 85th percentile at 29 weeks. So not too far off yours for measurement differences (FWIW, Baby A is a girl and Baby B is a boy--I know that doesn't make a huge difference in utero but I'm wondering if the boy is just going to be bigger because he's a boy?).

I had an NST and growth ultrasound yesterday at 32+2 weeks. NST was perfect. Ultrasound showed that both babies are STILL breech. Sigh. I don't think they are going to budge and am starting to lose hope.

But, the good news is that they are growing really well. Baby A (girl) was estimated to be 4.5 lbs and Baby B (boy) was estimated to be just over 5 lbs. My doctors are so satisfied with their growth that I am not scheduled for another ultrasound for another 4 weeks (36+2 weeks).

I do start weekly NSTs now though.

I am hoping to get to 37-38 weeks as well (or longer if someone flips over and becomes a good Baby A with their head down).

J-squared: I'll cross my fingers that your Baby A flips over! My A was also measuring breech at the last US, but she's been doing flips since then, so who knows where she's at now. Your weights sound great too - amazing how they're so similar after being so different at 29 weeks.
