Going for my first trimester blood screen tomorrow and will also be tested to see if I am a cystic fibrosis or SMA carrier. I don't think I'll get any results until next week but am really hoping everything goes really well.

 

tomorrow (23rd) i have my gt test (think they make everyone do that test at my ob's office as there is no actual 'reason' for me to do that test) and a growth u/s (again they're just being cautious as my twins have always been very close in size).

 

We have our 37 week scan on Friday and I'm hoping it will show that Baby A is still head down. Then we are in to see our OB on Monday. I have been showing lots of signs of pre-e so I think we may end up having the babies in the next week or so. They're a great size so I'm happy for them to come. Just nervous of course.

 

Had my 30 week appointment today. BP good 102/76, weight gain fine so I started off happy. I see my doctor every two weeks and he does a u/s at every appt. so every 4 weeks I get an u/s of just hr's and every 4 weeks is a longer u/s to see how the babies are growing. Today was just for HR's (he likes to do this so he knows he is hearing two different heart beats). Baby B who is the girl had a HR of 160 and Baby A's/Boy's HR was 120-125. This was not terribly concerning but does make me worry. On top of that his feet or knees are on my cervix and then comes around to the right side so technically breech but almost transverse and the doctor doesn't know if he will be able to turn or not at this point. He did check to make sure the umbilical cord was not around his neck with the u/s so that is good but the breech part is devistating to me, I know I want healthy babies but I want to deliver them, not have them be cut out of me. I know there is still time which means still a chance. It is just upsetting to me. They both seem to be doing well and no signs of preterm labor as of yet so all in all things are good, these babies start making decisions for us early huh!!!

 

I had a growth and cervical u/s yesterday at 29 weeks. Baby A was 2# 14oz. and Baby B 3#1 oz. and they were measuring on target!! My cervix was measuring 3.9 which makes me so happy considering all the contractions I have throughout the day. I think my medication will have to be tweaked again with all the contractions I am having on the medication. Hope everyone has a great week!

 

I have a basic prenatal appointment tomorrow. lol. Nothing too big and exciting, but I am only 14 weeks

 

Had my first growth scan today. Cervix was nice & long and Baby A is 1.5oz and Baby B is 1.6oz. I also did my Glucose test and passed. They said my Iron was good too. They got a good 2nd look at their parts and they are for sure girls Im measuring 32 weeks - YIKES!

 

Today, at 27 weeks 6 days, we had our latest assessment. I measured 32 cm. The OB :wacko: used the doppler to take a listen and said the girls' heart beats sounded great. We also got the results of my GTT and H&H. My sugars measured great, my iron was at the low end of normal, so I get to join those of you popping iron pills. :wacko: All in all a good appointment. We start our NSTs next week.

 

Well, it's been a busy week.

Growth US and BPP on Tuesday went well. They are estimated to be 5 lbs each! Wow! But, both are still breech.

Today was my OB appt, where we scheduled my c-section. It's booked for 38w5d as the OR is booked until then.

My question - what are the chances that I'll go that long?!?!? I like the idea of going into labour naturally though, so I'm happy I've got the later date, even though I'll still need a section.

 

Had our 26 week appt on Wed and all looks great! Boys are both measuring 2lbs 2oz and my belly is measuring 34 weeks! I start my weekly NST next week and then weekly dr appts at 28 weeks. My cervix was only 3.8 this week (down from 4.6 2 weeks ago) so they are keeping a good eye on it too. The contractions have really picked up in the last week, so I'm on brethine every 3 hours now instead of every 4. And still on bedrest (that won't change until after we deliver.) But everything looks great!

 

We have just got back from our u/s and BOTH babies are now head down and Baby A is very, very low. All they need to do now is just stay where they are!!! SO EXCITED :woohoo:

 

Went for an u/s yesterday at 31 wks and 1 day. Baby A 3.7 lbs, baby B 3.6 lbs. Yeah for baby B. Coz her weight has been falling behind and she has SUA. Now we know that she is catching up and doing very well! Next u/s is in 3 weeks.

 

Well I am very jealous of Mumof5 because yesterday, at 37W3D, my little Twin B is still loving her breech position. They passed their biophysical exam. As usual, Twin A had to be poked a bit (she's super quiet unlike her sister), but they were pleased with her responses. It probably won't be long now...

 

Went to the High risk doc on friday for another growth ultra sound! Baby A is Head down and is 3 pounds and 15 oz and Baby B is butt down and 3 pounds 11 0z! They are growing good! So exciting!! Now if we can just get baby b to flip around so I can have them vaginally that would be just great! Has anyone else had their babies flip this late?! I am 31 weeks and 5 days!
