I had uncooperative babies (or perhaps a nurse with high expectations?) during my NST this morning. They were moving lots and showing accelerations with almost every movement, but the nurse kept saying it wasn't "enough." Turns out my little ones' heart rates were accelerating about 10-14 beats per minute after a movement and they want to see them go up at least 15 beats or more.. seemed very arbitrary.

It all seemed very arbitrary to me and a 15-20 minute appointment turned into an hour of moving around on the bed, poking the babies, etc.
