This Week's Appointments Feb. 1-5

I am 31 weeks along, this week on Monday I had a Non-Stess test (everything was fine, good heart beats and no contractions) On Thursday I will have another Non stress test as well as a leval one ultrasound that will check the babies positions and fluid levals.

 

On Wednesday afternoon I have my weekly OB appointment to check my cervix. (It's on the short side and I'm on complete bedrest for it.) Prayers up that it's holding tight and I don't have to go on hospital bedrest... my bags will be packed just in case, as they always are... I get so nervous leading up to the wanding!

 

I haven't even had an internal exam yet, is that weird? My first one will be next week at 32 weeks.

 

So you haven't had a check of your cervix via vaginal ultrasound, is that what you mean? I would say that's pretty uncommon, although I have heard of some people not having them. My doc started doing them every-other-week a couple of months ago, which is good because she caught that mine was shrinking too rapidly (hence the bedrest). Now I have an ultrasound once a week to keep tabs on it. I have also had an external check (with her fingers) a few times as well, just because of the shortening issue.

The good news is that it sounds like things are going well for you so far!
