This Week's Appointments Dec. 21-25

I have an appointment with U/S scheduled this afternoon due to some spotting/bleeding from my SCH this weekend!! Praying my squishies are safe and sound in there!!!

 

Great u/s today. Both head down and very active. Baby A is about 2lb6oz and Baby B about 2lb9oz. Good growth, good fluid and I'm feeling great (Very large though!!!) Another scan in 4 weeks then onto every two weeks. Great to see the little ones right before christmas. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL :tree:

 

Last Thursday we had our big anatomy scan, albeit a bit early - the twins are only 18 weeks 4 days today. Everything looks great. All of the parts are where they should be and everything appears to be forming well. They're also growing right on track. A is a bit bigger this time, but B was bigger last time. I suppose they'll be one-upping each other from here on out. Also, we learned that they're most likely girls. My DH was momentarily disappointed (he was hoping there was a little man in there somewhere), but now he can't stop talking about his girls. Now we get to begin the fun of picking out names. I am SOOO EXCITED! It's amazing how you can love two little people so much and you haven't even met them yet.

 

Well, back from the Dr.'s after my bleeding scare this weekend. Things are still looking good. Babies have gotten bigger and are wiggling around. Now just have to wait for my NT Scan next week to calm my fears. Praying that they are happy and healthy!!

 

Keeping you and your little ones in our prayers Ladypotter. Had my (probally final) growth scan yesterday. I was 34.5 weeks. Babies are looking great. Baby A who is breech weighed approx. 5 lbs. 6 oz. and Baby B was a little more difficult to measure becasue we could barly get to her head and stomach weighed 4 lbs 14 oz. Doctor is guessing she is a little bit bigger than that. So, I am happy to report that if accurate, I have some 5 pounders in there. My BP is climbing but not a concern yet. Come on babies.....one more week at least. I have been having contractions, about 7-10 and hour but they really don't have any certain pattern. Some, 3 minutes, some 5 minutes and some 7 minutes apart. So, lots of water and hoping to hold these little ones in.

 

The babies looked great on the ultrasound today. I am 30 weeks along. Baby A measured right on schedule w/a weight of 3 lbs. 8 oz. Baby B is measuring a week ahead at 3 lbs. 14 oz. (he's been a week ahead the whole time). There's plenty of fluid for them & they are very active. Still lots of turning, flipping and rolling going on in there! My cervix has shortened even more, to 2 cm & the ultrasound tech saw some blood around my cervix. So, I could very well find myself back in the hospital before too long. Hopefully I'll get to stay home through the weekend!
